All our straps are easy to change in seconds.
The FLIEGER 46C Chronograph collection has been built from the “ground-up” in consultation with professional pilots and customers within the PANZERA community. They asked us to design a contemporary pilots watch that is extremely accurate and functional to use whilst flying, and yet also exceptionally stylish to wear on the ground.
The FLIEGER 46C chronograph is a modern interpretation of the famous Flieger aviator's watch design from the 1930’s. The large case and dial size allow for excellent readability in all light conditions. The oversized knurled crown and push buttons enable changing time and use of the chronograph function even whilst wearing flying gloves. With full 100M water resistance you can also safely use your watch for aquatic activities including swimming when you get back on the ground.
Designed and assembled in Sydney Australia. Every watch is hand-assembled at our Sydney workshop by our professional watchmakers. Over a period of five days, each watch is assembled, tested and certified to the highest levels of accuracy, quality and engraved with its own unique serial number.
The Quartz chronograph movement used in this collection ensures an extremely high level of accuracy with less than one second per day variation. Additionally, the multi-minutes and sub-second measurements on the chronograph enable pilots to accurately record timing of flight events. We have also maintained a smooth “sweeping” Chronograph seconds hand which is a unique characteristic for a Quartz movement.
Choose from a wide selection of premium stitched Italian rubber and genuine leather straps in multiple colours and styles. The strap is fastened by a pin-buckle clasp finished and colour matched to the case. All PANZERA straps feature a quick release mechanism to easily switch out your strap to another style without tools within seconds.
Amir Zoghi is accustomed to moving outside his comfort zone. He learnt to fly when he was 16, and is now an accomplished pilot who competes regularly in Australian aerobatics competitions.
For a pilot like Amir, flying is living his dream. “When I fly, I feel at home with the world. I become at one with the aircraft, and the wings become an extension of me.”
Amirs’ association with PANZERA began several years ago with the acquisition of a PANZERA “Flieger” pilots watch. Since this time Amir has been a proud owner of several PANZERA timepieces.
In Amirs’ own words: “The reason I love my PANZERA is it looks smart, it’s functional and rugged, but not pretentious. My PANZERA is my daily go-to watch, and I’m never afraid to wear it anywhere”.
